Gladiators was one of my favourite programmes in the 90s and it would be nice to get all the series on DVD

Gladiators, Baywatch, Airwolf, Thunder paradise, Knight Rider....They do not have these shows anymore :(

Incredible show that can never be remade. Was magical to watch. If only we could go back to when it was on, such atmosphere! Cannot be recreated. If only they'd release a boxset! :(

Same for me. I'd just turned 8 when it finished and I wanted to be a contender. I was devastated when it finished :(

It was a fantastic show to watch every Saturday night. I was only 6 when it ended and I remember watching this montage :(

I was 8 years old when the show came to an end, and i was INCONSOLABLE. Didn't leave my room for 3 days, because my dreams of being a contender were quashed. this video still chokes me up now tbh :'/

god it's been 13 years now when the old gladiators ended and i was only 2 when it first aired and wolf is always my all time fav from the glads.

this was a popular game show on ITV in the United kingdom, where professional athletes (gladiators) would take on contestants as all kinds of physical challenges like wall climbing, the contestant would go first with a 10second headstart the the gladiator would be sent up after them to pull them off and things like that
