Over the past six months, I’ve studied intensely to pass my Sommelier exam. Italy has always felt like one of the most complicated countries to learn in my studies. But I came across Tony’s videos and have come away with a tremendously clearer understanding of Italy’s major wine regions. There is real passion behind Tony’s craft, as well as deep knowledge and mastery that you could only expect from a dedicated veteran of the trade. Thank you, Tony, for sharing the beauty of Italian wine. They’ve helped immensely in my studies, and taught me where my new favorite wines hail from!

Wow, this is excellent. Margiotta seamlessly weaves prehistory, history, terroir, agriculture, winemaking, family... a beautiful score, ample views of the land, discussion of processes, weather, the list goes on and on. Remarkably balanced, full-bodied, and satisfying, not unlike a fine bottle of Amarone. Great job!

I’m from Northern California in a little town called Bella Vista , 7 miles from the largest lake in California, Lake Shasta. Similar to Villa San Miguel east of Lake Garda I’m 58 years old and have never drank alcohol 🍷 but i would like to take my wife to Italy someday as I’ve never been out of the United States. Your videos are helping me decide where to go as I love history, love the stories of the ranchers and farmers ( the people) that build these awesome vineyards and love learning about wine as my wife likes wine and I’m do the buying for her and when friends come to visit our home. Ugolini is the first place I want to go thanks to your videos. Hard working down to earth people in the country👍 I have no desire to go to Rome the capital of Tuscany or some other big city as there are to many people. So thank you and keep up the great work on the videos. Thank you for the history again and look forward to learning more about the history of the Ugolini family and how they built the winery and who built those awesome walls, I’m guessing the prisoners 🤔 Thanks again Conrad Tona
