In the barnstorming days, they would often create funny or dangerous plots to engage the audience. That’s why so many camera angles.But it does not take away the dangers that they put themselves in. There were no stunt doubles. I recommend watching The Great Waldo Pepper. Probably the best movie made about that era.

So where's the camera on the repair plane? There's no one in the back seat and I don't see a rig attached to the rear. When they're shooting her at 1:15 WHERE'S THE CAMERA? You can clearly see the side of the plane at 1:56. I don't see a camera setup and movie cameras back then were huge boxes. If anyone can explain please do. OR she did this multiple times so they could edit the proper angles. Even more bad-ass!
