I love the door Gladys has opened in the LDS church. I joined the LDS Church in Alabama where I was born and raised, grew up attending Missionary Baptist churches,Holiness churches. When I joined the LDS church,I did not leave my roots in those Baptist churches, and now I'm taking gospel music to the LDS church here in Seattle. It is being embraced, and the Saints are clamoring for this style of music. I'm glad I never gave up on this church. I have stepped away in times in my life, but it has been for my own Spiritual growth attending black churches, singing in gospel choirs ,willing to learn and grow in Spiritual Wisdom to evangelize the Saints, and I'm in bliss attending the LDS church again, and playing the hymns deriving my Pentecostal . I never thought Kirk Franklin music and Andre Crouch would ever be heard in the lds church. I consider myself the Kirk Franklin of Mormonism and the fun is just beginning.

Bless You Gladys, with the way things appeared from the beginning of your beautiful life, it was and is very evident that you were a "member of The Church" by default. you were looking forward to the time to fulfill all righteousness. Its not a surprise to see you finally find the Platform that you have always longed for and was so sure would show up along your life's time-line on earth. Your songs and words in the past were testimony to the fact that you were ONCE trained and blessed with a very deep spiritual culture in Pre-existence. So glad for you my beautiful Sister, glad to see you embrace the Kingdom you once so cherished. right From that great SPHERE you have always being a blessing......... Some of the comments say they want apologies by the church. Would it really make a difference? What if there really was a true church of Jesus Christ? Would you really want to know? If you do, it takes the release of pride, you're right, you're justified in taking offense. It requires submission and taking oneself a broken heart, the willingness to open ones heart to the truth, then sincerely and honestly going to the Lord, pleading to know HIS truth. He's the one who will tell you the truth. The Lord does not lie. Listen for peace in your soul. May God bless you in your search for HIS LOVE.

There is no need to be harsh and disrespectful, share the truth in love. Lovely person with wonderful intent, but let us pray for one another. Gladys really wants to know and follow Jesus. With so many claiming to walk in the truth of Jesus Christ, He left clear information reflecting how HE will separate HIS true followers from charlatans. Leave the Judgement to Christ. Let us walk in love and pray for the lost. Let us make sure we are seeking out the Lord Jesus Christ truly before throwing rocks. Folks are sincere, but sincerity is not enough. Anything not left in writing by Christ and His apostles needs to be matched and measured by the Word of God. Without a scriptural basis, danger zone. ONCE WE ARE DRAWN TO CHRIST BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WE MUST SEEK HIM OUT IN TRUTH. ANYTHING NOT REFLECTED IN THE WORD OF GOD IS CONTRIVED AND A RED FLAG. WE NEED TO PRAY THAT WE ALL GET THE TRUTH AND WALK IN IT. People are seeking Christ but we all must be sure we are following HIM and not fairytales. We are responsible for seeking knowledge from God, each of us. Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. Matthew 13:24-30New King James Version (NKJV) The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Amen - Peace and blessings all - YW

Gladys Knight, What a beautiful Woman She turn out to be. Now To the rest of you. For I have seen your comments. After looking at this video of Her addressing this congregation of people who don't really know the history. The Lord will over look. Why, Jesus Said along time ago. To Peter and his disciples, I have other sheep that are not of this fold. But when I return I will redeem them unto myself. There is probably a very good reason Why Gladys is in that Church. And we at this time don't understand. But one day it will be revealed to us. For now Gladys genuine love and seeking the savior is going to save millions of those souls. Please don't miss understand me. Yes There Church has a Real BAD History. But The Lord Has always turn sour leman into lemonade. And This is possibly the way he's using Gladys To do this Very Thing. Keep Her in your prayers and in your Heart. The Love coming through Her, from the Father, will guide Them to the Truth. Not all will be saved, But Many Will. My Word To Miss Gladys Knight. May The Lord Use You In A Mighty Way, For His People Wondering in the wilderness, Who is also looking for the Truth. The Light and The Life Of Christ Our Savior. May The Lord Bless You Gladys Knight On Your Mission. Dj Robbie Out............. PSS. And Wow what an opportunity to spread The Gospel To The Mormon Church, The Lord Will Be With You.........................

I whole heartedly agree. I come from a strong Church of Christ background and i was taught the same thing, that somehow the church lost its ability to worship the way Christ established it.. It tells me two things..if the church needed to be restored then 1. the Holy Spirit failed to do His job, and 2. God is not a keeper of promises.. I refuse to believe that the Holy Spirit failed. I drank the Kool-aid so long that it is hard for me to believe that it is grace by faith alone. but it is.
