I have WORSHIPED Ms. Gladys Knight since I was a very young girl. I am now nearly 60... & she STILL remains MY Angel of Music. Her rich, sultry, soulful voice is genuine & sincere. She is an original. Truly one of a kind. Thank you Ms. Gladys for the joy & love you share thru your most beautiful, heartfelt music. You have touched my life in ways no other artist EVER will. God bless you dear Lady.💕💕💕

Gladys Knight is the greatest Atlo singer I've ever heard in all of my 71 years of living. Her voice is smooth, rich, full and her tone and clarity is untouchable. Her voice is like gold, she shows the dept and heartfelt message in a song no matter what she sings she's just simply the best!

+Nei Osa Oh honey I could go on for days talking about my girl Gladys! She's one of my favorites along with Aretha Franklin and Patti Labelle!
@junior24048 жыл бұрын
+Eddie Wilkerson I am only 39 and I can relate to what you said...Aretha is my fav of the 3 you mentioned. Anita Baker is another unique voice to add to the mix...
@eddiemaewilkerson79288 жыл бұрын
+junior2404 Oh yes Anita is another very unique and distinguished vocalist and you know back in the 80s I used to work very close with a lot of singers doing background for them and I always asked Anita would she Whitney Houston ever do something together and she maybe one day I wish they would have because their voices would've been beautifully matched, don't you think?
@junior24048 жыл бұрын
Eddie Wilkerson Wow! With the right production team it would have been an instant classic. It's a shame it never came to fruition. Have a Happy New Year by the way. God Bless!

Gladys Knight is one of my very favorite singers of all time....and I so love this song. I get so emotional when I hear this because it reaches into my soul and all that I want for my children...to protect them. Definitely on my Favorites List.

I have to agree Aretha ain't what she used to be (and she's my favorite). Gladys on the other hand is like wine. I think she's the best in her age group (divas from the 60's)! Patti can still do her thing too, but she OVER delievers vocally to me! Bravo Gladys!!!!

Gladys still sounds good and looks good. Their are still some women who have aged well and are still doing their thing. Tina Turner, Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin. Everyone's voices changes thru the years. But these women are still around and still putting on wonderful shows and doing their thing. Tina Turner is still breaking box office records with her live shows and she is the oldest of all of them. Thanks for the post.

I agree they couldn't of ask a better person to represent our Great Country to the eye's and ear's of the world. Gladys Voice is true and pure and not digitally enhanced like they do now to the other performer of her era. That age has taken from them of course with exception's such as Patti. I travel the world and no matter were i go . There is always some one who asked me about Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole & Michael J. It puts a smile on my face to be from the USA were such great talent is born

SO YEAH! She has lots of LOVING friends and fans. AND when God needs a singing voice to represent the Earth, it's GLADYS KNIGHT!!!!

Gladys Knight and the Pips I saw in person for the first time in 1969. I was a kid. Gladys still has the fire, the voice and the looks to this day. She's a gem, she's soulful, she's for real, and she's just an icon that I truly love and respect. Great performance even with her long hair. Gladys looks and sounds great to this day. How blessed are we to still have her with us.

people please, stop making comparisons of what should of, could of and would of'. ms glady's NEVER lost anything, her voice is right where is should be for her age, areatha and tina too. let's give credit where credit is due as for whitney,well...ummm...that's that...moving on...we have incredible talents here...they may not sound the way we are used to hear them in their prime...but their voices are still refine...now if they start to sound like the people on american idol, then start 2 worry
