If you think about it, everyone who knew MJ personally like Gladys, friends etc. had really positive things to say about him because thats what they saw & got to know about him. Yet when the media takes one little thing because he's a really big superstar, they exaggerate it or LIE to sell a story...because he is MICHAEL JACKSON.. Remember him for the talent he shared with us because thats what he gave to us, not what the media made about him and fed to those that are ignorant.

Michael gave so much of himself and everything he had, as if he owed the world. The way I see it, the world owes Michael a ton. He provided us with music and entertainment we will never again see in this lifetime.

accolades must also go to this 'phenomenal' woman/icon...we can be sure that any hours Michael spent with Gladys were warm and loving...She shared her glorious (untarnished) gifts from a very young age also, and is one of the few remaining legends we can turn to for clarity in re-telling, rather than re-writing history. As we are inundated with MJ revelations, it is the amazing work left for us that matters most. It cost him his life here, but its brilliance will outlive all critics.

Wow .....I was refreshed by what she had to say. Its much more and is worthwhile when someone who was unjaded and knew him personally can share moments like this. None of us will ever know what he had to go thru as silly as it may have sounded from his mouth. This represents the closest thatt we can ever come to the proof and understanding his genius and desperation to simply live. Thanks Gladys

i hate it how all these ppl acted like they were his closest friends after he died but when he was alive they would go shhh when they heard his name. I think of these ppl being MJs real friends (these ppl didnt do a interview rite after he died either): diana ross, chris tucker, stevie wonder, liz taylor, brooke shields and barry gordy.

I'm glad ms. Gladys kept it positive even though she discovered them and they worked for the same label at least she did reach out to him and offer him to come and stay with her.. he needed a family and genuine love...she just spoke about him and who he was she didnt act like she was there every step of the way but she made it clear that he was welcome honestly diana ross wasnt there for him as much as she should have been ... liz and Chris tucker to me were his only real friends and maybe mccauley... although I will admit mj was a giver and I recognize when someone crawls into their shell they push people away and they dont know who to trust he went into exile and tried to trust who he could he changed his number constantly because it's what he felt he needed to do... so it doesnt mean people werent reaching out to him sometimes people honestly dont know how to help you... he wanted to save the world and heal the world he wanted us to be kind he wanted to lead by example and it's obvious he couldn't do it alone they wore him out and killed his spirit and betrayed his trust by the time people realized he needed help it probably was to late. ...

I just love Glady's. She is so sincere and unasumming. She discovered the Jackson 5 and she never takes the acalade because its just not her, she doesn't need to. They knew and she knew and that pissing miss Ross sat there and allowed to be named as their founder because she (Ross) was doing Mr Gordy's 'Spread Sheets!' which lead to her 'love child!' with Gordy. Confirmed by Jermain in an interview.

@Dare2drm37 I agree with you on your comment. A lot of people in the media thought MJ didn't have any friends in Hollywood who loved and supported him during the trial. He did but most of them didn't go public about it because the media during that time were all about any negative stories. They few who went public to defend him in interviews were cut off by interviews...they don't even let them finish their defense of MJ. MJ had real friends and I'm glad Gladys Knight was one of them.

@George007Kelley I remember spending months on the internet with not only fans but friends and family of Mj's discussing the trials and worried about how biased the media was and how incredibly prejudice the system is in Santa Barbara county. We were disgusted by the lies and rumors being spread by not just the tabloid media but by the news media, how can people who were just supposed to "report" the news live with themselves after destroying a mans life like that? But you are so right.
