As someone who can’t wear makeup (allergies) I don’t understand why a woman without makeup can’t be beautiful, just like a man without make. I have women tell me that I’d be so pretty IF I wore makeup. So I can never be pretty because I can’t cover my face? It’s insulting. Thankfully my husband isn’t one of those people. I’m also an artist, I just paint on canvas and not my face.

SO! Fun fact: I once had H1N1 (swine flu) and literally almost died. It felt like the regular flu. I went to the doc, told them I had the flu, they did a swab, and it tested negative. It got worse, developed into pneumonia and ARDS, they put me into a coma because my lungs were so full of fluid that I couldn't breathe, I was comatose for about two months, I was pregnant at the time, they took my daughter 2 months early via c-section because the stress on my body had put me into labor (I was still comatose), they gave me a 20% chane to live, etc. LONG STORY. Anyway, the docs later told me that the flu swab only tests for CERTAIN STRAINS of the flu (the more common ones). Not ALL STRAINS. Anyway, you totally had the flu.

HELL YES. I like to alternate between no makeup, historical (no makeup-makeup), vintage and gothic/grungy/witchy makeup and honestly, I think I look the same. I will never forget the first time people at my church saw me in witchy gothic makeup though; priceless. Spoiler, they actually really liked it; I was shocked too.😂

Heh, I'm glad you mentioned, I think your expressions and "the movement of your face" is a huge part of what makes you attractive as well. It's an extension of your energy and vivaciousness. Even if you arent conventionally pretty (which you are), it would be like the difference in being a model or a dancer, but for your face. Katie is pretty like a model, and Mykie is pretty like a dancer.

I can count on one hand just how many times I've actually worn makeup and I can honestly say that I hated how it felt on my face. So, my face looks like a raw potato all the time, and I could care less about what other think of it. With or without makeup, Mykie you look absolutely gorgeous!!

Sadly, society knows nothing about self love and acceptance... It's mostly focused around what you can do to change or "fix" something "wrong" with you, which is far from embracing self love in my opinion. I think getting Botox for wrinkles is fine, as long as you aren't going over board to the point where you fear aging. Society just takes "self love" and basically hides it behind how many procedures a person can get done, to get to the point of self love.
