I bought this at launch with all the space age and flower named multichromes and I can not wait to get everything! I LOVE this color story and Glaminatrix is my favorite brand for hand pressed palettes. You beauty was the first palette I decided to buy when I went all indie and it still inspires me. I've bought everything she's released since. My Sandra Rose will come before this one, hopefully soon as it shipped a week ago. Then I'll at least have something to play with while waiting for Nocturnal to be made and shipped, The looks you created are so stunning and up my excitement even more! I usually don't mind waiting for preorders but I hate having to wait for this. I just want it so badly! I can't wait to see what you think about the multichromes, I hope they're amazing because they were soo expensive to buy all at once!

Yeah the waiting is a little nerve racking. My advise, forget you ordered it lol just forget about and when it gets there it gets there. Not being snarky it’s what I have to do. Only when I order from international brands. It was hard to do because in the states your stuff shows up in a week or sooner. We’re spoiled in the USA with so many indie brands over here.

OK, wow, that is even more beautiful than the promo shots!! Such an interesting colour story - mattes remind me of an extended more muted version Shroud's It's Freakin' Bats. I wish some of them had a bit more opacity but I love the sophisticated tones of both mattes and shimmers. That sparkly teal shimmer has my heart 🛸 🖤🖤🖤

oh I really love the muted blue purple look 😍 Yes the mattes are more hard pressed now! I'm curious with the primers you used did you notice any creasing? I just did an in depth review on this new shimmer formula and found I needed to use the UD primer to prevent creasing. But overall these shadows are gorgeous and the colourstory 10/10, can't wait to see more looks you make with this!

I’m living for these stunning eyeshadow looks❣️ I have had issues with the PLouise eyeshadow primer, also. For instance, I noticed that everyone who had issues with the ABH matte formula (calling it patchy?!) they were all using the PLouise primer. I’m not sure what makes it do that with some matte formulas and not others..? Did you happen to try a different primer for the 2 matte shades that you had issues with for this palette? Love your tutorials, Millie❣️❤️🌹

I’ve always liked ‘shifty’ colored shadows- even before there were so many ‘sub-types’ ie- Cygnus from Ritual de Fille, and the many Urban Decay mad old-school duochromes that existed b4 they exploded onto the makeup scene as they are now. I’m so happy your channel is here for all that. That said I’m just wondering why you only rarely use Adept in your ( really dead-on) comparisons . I bought many Adept palettes bc they seem to cover a lot of shifty ground without costing what many similar brands charge ( mid 100-$200s” i Do you personally not consider Adept to be one of the top ‘shifty ‘ brands?

some of the mattes remind me of the it's freakin bats palette. the shades i've gotten from glaminatrix i didn't really like, they weren't as shiny/sparkly as i was expecting/hoped. they looked dull on the eye and their mattes had a ton of kickup. i'm hoping their formulas changed to one i would like more, but on their socials i feel they are a little misleading because of their use of light and filters. cool looks as always and i think i could do similar with what i already have!

They actually posted a video super recently where they compare kick up with their older Sandra rose palette with this one - they've changed the formula to cause less kick up! They said they would change all their singles as well, but not sure if they've done that already. At least this palette is the new formula, and they will change the rest too!😊

@@truereligionangel they suggested what i had ended up doing which is adding isopropyl alcohol and then pressing (you can put plastic or wax paper over to press-something glossy that it won't stick to. I let it evaporate and get more solid and then put them in the palette. But honestly, i would never travel or tip over the palette- those will always be fragile.
