@Winterschant4 жыл бұрын
Graham gets paid a lot by KZbin because a lot because his content is advertiser friendly and relates to Finance, and that's why companies decide to run ads on his channel. And the more ads he runs on his vids, the more KZbin pays him. Making Finance related content helps as well cuz the CPM is usually super high, meaning everyone is fighting for the ad space. So just because there are KZbinrs bigger than him doesn't necessarily mean they get paid by KZbin more 😀

I like the Millennial Money one better.) - What are your 1.8 in savings invested in? - If you don't hang out with your friends in your purely decorative living room, then where do you hang out? Was there a room that wasn't filmed? - How much money do you spend monthly on travel, gym, personal care, transportation, etc.? - You spend more $ on groceries than restaurants but say that you rarely cook at all. How is that possible? - You eat eggs and ham every day for breakfast, but have you considered the long-term health costs of that diet?

I have gotten sucked into Graham's videos because I just enjoy his sheer enthusiasm for saving and helping people. As someone who worked very hard but ran into a wall financially, I super appreciate it. I feel like I could give beck tenfold on this decor and the food because I am a master of making things out of nothing. $250 for a skull, $400 for a steampunk ray gun and those sad decorations in the kitchen make me... sad. I think design sponge is a good place to DIY the heck out of much better decor but if you want help, glad to trade for financial advice. And also: you're doing awesome!

Reminds me of the frugal life style of Sweden most successful businessman Ingvar Kamprad, founder of IKEA. He brought groceries near experation date to save money and kept his old but functional volvo car while having the means to buy the entire Volvo brand, he didnt even bother to switch up car.

@inspiredby6244 жыл бұрын
@@TPizzle96 I agree that paper is better than plastic but single-use items in general waste resources. You need machines to plant and cut down trees and water and chemicals to turn wood into paper/cardboard. The paper products need to be transported, stored and are usually also packaged in plastic. All of this has a negative impact on the environment. It's better to use normal plates and try to use less water when washing them
@adagioborntrager44564 жыл бұрын
T-Pizzle that doesn’t excuse the plethora of resources used to make the product. Not to mention the majority of paper plates are lined with plastic which means it won’t biodegrade efficiently and can’t be recycled.

Anne Day then why chase money if he places no value in materials??
@genjamin4 жыл бұрын
@Anne Day that's exactly what a scarcity mindset is. there's never enough. not buying expensive things is fine but he's constantly thinking about price because of his childhood programming that if he buys something expensive there won't be enough resources to survive. he admits this in another video.

Anne Day but he doesn’t spend miney on any of those things? Yeah he has a house and financial freedom, because he hoards his money. There’s no adventures or traveling videos or anything like that being had on his channel and I watched his “dating” video and all the dates he takes his lady on are free or uber cheap so like, how is he experiencing independence and freedom if he has to penny pinch?
