GLAMPING at UNDER CANVAS Mount Rushmore | FULL SUITE TENT Tour and Review at the Under Canvas Mount Rushmore South Dakota location!
I first want to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to Under Canvas for giving back to the front line workers! They graciously decided to give back to front line workers and I was chosen for a beautiful TWO NIGHT STAY at their Mount Rushmore location in one of their suite tents! I am beyond thankful for this opportunity to escape my daily grind at the bedside and get #OutsideTogether with my best friend Cheraya ( / cherayamiyoko . This was exactly the little getaway we never knew we needed!
I wanted to share my time at the Under Canvas Mount Rushmore with you all! For anyone who is considering staying at an Under Canvas, I decided to do a tour of their Suite Tent as well as the grounds at the Mount Rushmore location!
I truly enjoyed my time at Under Canvas. The tent was beautiful and had everything that we ever needed for our two night stay! I loved the location as we were right in the heart of the Black Hills, only 5 minutes from Mount Rushmore (which you can see from the property!!!) and close to all of the top attractions in the Black Hills area! The stay was extremely helpful and friendly. The property offered free daily activities and clean amenities throughout. If you are considering a stay at Under Canvas, I say go for it!

@@mmoriartyy I’d love to do Acadia next! We spent time at the Smokie location this spring which was amazing. We are heading to Moab this fall but heard the Moab location isn’t the best out of the Utah locations. They really advertise those locations a lot.

@@TheWanderfulLifeofKayla Moab is one of the most popular and supported from the big wigs. I hear the Utah locations are stunning. A lot of our staff are also transferring to Zion after our season ends! Definitely keep us updated on your visits-- tell me which location I should work at next! LOL

This "Golden Ticket" was such a gracious thankful for the last year and half. I couldn't have thought of a better way to be thanked. This company is seriously so amazing! I am glad you thought this was a solid review! As always, its my true and honest opinions. But I do feel like this company is amazing with beautiful luxury camping tents, great amenities and the location was beautiful! Fingers crossed Under Canvas see this review and we can stay at another location in the future!

This was a retreat! A retreat I never knew I needed until I laid in that bed! lol But all jokes aside, that bed was the BEST bed I have ever laid my body on. I don't know what they did but I can't stop thinking about it lol

This was such an incredible experience and I couldn't believe how amazing it was! I loved it so much I booked a stay at the Smoky Mountain camp. I use the Sony zv-1 for vlogging. It's compact and user friendly! I love it and highly recommend it!

Awe! I love seeing this!! I work at this location (I'm a newbie this season) and I have to say it's just as awesome to work for this company and at this location as it is to stay there. We as employees love to stay in the tents if we can. Soon I'll be transferring to the Smokies, but I love seeing feedback from guests. And GIRL tent 67 is my favourite one-- the VIEW and the privacy is on point. I'm still learning about the company and it still amazes me that this type of camping and retreat as an outdoor hotel still seems like an unspoken gem. Was your hiking guide Jason? I think he's been with this location since the beginning and continues to make such cool trails. And ughhh you are so right about how it's odd that this location isn't as advertised. I think it's because they miss out on promoting the Black Hills! I know where I come from no one really knows about the beauty of this area. Glad you enjoyed your stay

Aw I am so glad you found this video! We LOVED our stay at the Mount Rushmore location! Tent 67 is definitely the best one and I’m so thankful for everything that Under Canvas did for me! We loved the company so much we returned to the Smokies this spring!

Well if the stars align and I get to go to Acadia next season, stop by and I'll show you some great spots in Maine near camp. As a New Englander, Maine is a popular vacation spot and one of my favourite beaches is a hidden gem where you can kayak at sunrise and seals will swim right up and around you like you're a Disney princess.

Are all the tents far enough from each other so that you can’t hear other families camping too?

If you could tell from the drone footage, you do have your privacy, especially if you book the more expensive tents. We were there at the end of the season and most of the guests were in our section of tents and we could here periodic voices but nothing too loud. It was actually pretty quiet and serene. I am staying at another location in April so stay tuned for that review. Are you planning on booking with Under Canvas? What location?

@@TheWanderfulLifeofKayla Yes, I am looking for new places to try camping with my family and found Under Canvas. The closest state for me to travel to would be the Mount Rushmore location but traveling farther would be fine too. I’ll keep a lookout for your video! :)

That’s a personal opinion. The best part is we all choose to spend our money the way we want. I personally enjoyed my gifted stay and I simply shared my time there so please take your negativity elsewhere.
