If only I knew how to use the tarp front 🤣 That was the 2nd reason I got it. 1st reason was the zippered side panels are already attached so I obit have 1 piece to worry about.

Hey j3gsfarm👋🏽 I don't know how to make the loops and ties yet. At least I'm on the right track🤣 I watched a few videos and it looks like boy scout knots 🤣 I have to learn how to do that. I also would have to do that around the tent in windy conditions on the eye hole parts where the clip is. I have my eye out for an easier method 🤔

I use a Large hot teepee tent. It makes life so much easier for me (being that I’m 56 yr’s young 😜🤪) to deal with than those. Lots of room for me a my gear. Can even set up a cot inside, wood stove, tables, chairs. But not too large for the full comfort stuff you have. Make sure you keep the rain skirts out. There are tutorials on knott tying that shows you how make proper guideline tie downs or go to your nearest adventure store and purchase already made guide lines which will make it much easier. I want to come t you escape in February. Gotta see how much money it set me back. But wood to meet you and I will get test my new gear as well. SEMPER FI

I was just saying I may have like 10 years of this left in me and I'll have to consolidate or be able to afford my dream RV Van😁 It looks cool, but man is it a lot of work🤣 my kids are too young to help with the heavy stuff so by the time I'm ready to hang it up, they should be able to handle the equipment by then. I hope you can come in February. It's a few hundred not too bad. I wanted to go on another camp trip with a group and they want 1k per person👀 I'm not on that level yet🤣 you can show us some prepper stuff and I'll have the glamping stuff🤣 that's what is for to practice your preps amongst like minded individuals. It's a good vibe trust me.

Ohhh, I like the zippers better than velcroing a bunch of pieces. And you’re right about putting the lines on the poles. Make a loop and place it over the top of the pole point after you tick it through the hole. There should be two lines for each pole. Take each line and make a small loop, pull the line out tight and put a stake through the loop and push it in the dirt. Then adjust the little plastic tensioner. I’m sorry if I’m not making a lick of sense. KZbin search ‘tent guy lines’. This was an awesome video! ❤

Your doing fine princess of the camp grounds 😇😍😉. People tend to take short cuts to get things done. Your doing things no different then us. I’m proud and honored to have found. YOUR AWESOME AND DOING A GREAT JOB 👏😳👍🤛🏿🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. Go get’em Tigris 😼. By setting things up and taking things down. You get better at making shortcuts without damaging the product or going against the manufacturer’s instructions or warranty! I wanted one and was going to see if I can make into a hot tent for fall camping…don’t think it can handle heavy snowfall 😢😊. It’s just small incisions and then place a stove jack there and WHA’LA you can stay nice comfy and comfortable when temp dips. SEMPER FI

You must not use it much in summer. The screen mesh is so tight that breezes do not go through. You can sit inside and watch the wind blow through the trees but it’s hot as heck with no breeze inside the tent. Great tents for cooler weather.

I'm gonna pass this along because I didn't know but it makes sense: when you roll something up to tie it up, roll it under and then tie it so that if it rains it'll shed instead of pooling and spilling all over everything. It's hard to do with awnings if you're by yourself but your husband can help you. The rest of that, Sis I don't have that tent... Edited to add: The awning you prop up with poles and guylines just like the skyliner tent you just saw at the meet up. Edited one more time to add: Grab Lead and remind him to show you how...

I'll try that roll up next time. I don't have a husband to help🤣🤣🤣That's why I picked things that I can manage on my own. My son is learning to help me though. He's interested in camping for now. Once we all get to camp, we never end up with time to go over my tent because we be doing all those other activities🥴 But the good thing is, I have you guys so I'll probably put it up in my backyard and let y'all help me out😁 Got to use the power of the internet

@@mycartrunnethover We got this! Ok, so, that awning has two grommets, one on each corner. You want to do one side at a time. Actually, first, you want to KZbin tying a guyline. There's a very simple knot I learned that involves forming a lowercase "d" with the long line in your right hand. Try to find one like that because it's easy. I have learned that it's really better to tie your guylines onto stakes and then adjust your tension from the tent side but for right now, just focus on learning to tie the guylines. After you get your guyline tied, with your pole seated in the grommet, you want to secure your guyline on the stake side about 45 degrees from the awning just like how you tie out guylines on your tent. If it's raining, you want to lower one side so it'll drain instead of pooling.

On that flap with the poles, the lines that come with it... see if there's a ring on the end or a loop. Once the poles are through the rings on the flap, the line connects over the top then you stake it so they stay straight and not fall. I watched a video on their website and it shows the guy sliding the line over the top of the pole. Watch that video and it shows the process @ the 25 second point. Keep it zipped and watch out for "🦝🦝🦝🦝🦝".
