WOW! Amazing set-up! I'm an avid off-grid camping enthusiast and recently purchased 110 acres with no utilities within miles . . . My immediate goal is to set up a "glamping" type situation for full-time living as I build permanent off-grid structures. This video is a true inspiration! I will be starting in a canvas wall tent with a wood-burning stove for winter heat, as well a 10x10 screened shelter for my kitchen. A friend of mine will be making clear vinyl curtains to enclose the kitchen during the colder winter months.

Just finished watching & was so excited for your family. Having the land to do all that set up is great. I'm in NY & closest camping is in my backyard-no dirt/grass. I have several screen houses, Clam Quickset Escape, 2 of them, is my newest items & leg weight bags & discs to hold them down. I got the Coleman camping stove & 1 burner unit(used last Summer & baked everything in it), Cuisinart propane pizza oven, 2 dual fuel single burners. I have a outside sink & shower. I loved the Cabela prep & storage unit. Yes, Cabela was crazy to no longer sell that item...I was ready to buy it. Please if you ever find an equivalent, do share. Got plenty of tiki torches too. I also do outside movies on a hydrolic screen. Would have loved to see the lights from the solar panels at night & the projector set up. Will you do a video on that? Thanks & have fun.
@ckeyboard13 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a night video in the description. I am still working on this camping gear. Added a yeti cooler and will add more and will keep you all posted. I have not seen a comparable kitchen to Cabela's yet. If I find one I'll get it and post it here. Would love to see a video of your set ups as well. Keep up the good work. Putting together a campsite is a blast.

I have a great item for you. I have two mini fridge/freezers. They are relatively inexpensive and I can run mine indefinitely on a 300w solar generator and a 60w solar panel. Just think, you can have ice cream.
@brendaedwards5353 жыл бұрын
Just curious how long your camping for? That had to take awhile to set up.
@ckeyboard13 жыл бұрын
It only takes about 3 to 4 hours to set up and same to take down. For example: The gazebos are pop up so you don't have to put poles together. The tent has one pole and the bathroom tents are easy as well. Everything is compact and folds up. The kitchen cupboards fold up, the Cableas kitchen folds up. Doesn't take any longer than a regular campsite really.

Holy swiss cheese Batman! I thought my Glamping rig was intensve. You have a lot of redundancy in the kitchen there. Coleman folding oven AND the Camp Chef job there. You could do Thanksgiving dinner in that thing if you add a Weber Kettle grill and pick a small enough bird... Good going!

Holy shit how long does it take to set up and how long do you go for you must pack everything in a U-Haul truck
@ckeyboard13 жыл бұрын
Actually, It's all very compact and everything has a case, folds, ect. For example the bathroom packs into the tote used also for water storage. I have a trailer the whole campsite fits on. Along with the side by side. Takes about 3 hours to set the whole thing up which is not bad at all. The gazebos pop up. So it all goes faster than you would think. Battery powered air pumps help speed things up as well.
