Some say Marvin should do more for Anson because he’s a guest, citing hospitality. But it’s 2024! If Anson, an independent North American-raised adult, wants to take the lead, let him. He’s likely enjoying the experience and creating content from it. Marvin was ready to assist if needed but allowed Anson to explore while watching closely. Hospitality isn’t about doing everything; it could be respecting independence. How about we trust their dynamic.

At last, someone who understands. 🙂 I don’t know na kailangan ko pa pala mag explain dahil ok naman kami ni Anson 😅 Anson is a young talented guy with so much energy, he likes to experience unusual stuff, ayaw niya yung relax relax lang, gusto niya ma experience sumakay ng jeep, mag camping, kumain ng exotic food at mag luto because he was doing content while cooking and I was filming him both sa camera ko at sa camera niya… i told him na i dont cook and that’s true, pero since gusto niya gawin so game ako. Kung ako lang masusunod gusto ko magpadeliver ng food at mag relax nalang but Anson wants to experience those things and I was there to support kung ano yung trip niya sa life.. i always want to highlight yung mga guests ko sa vlog, I don’t want to outshine them so if they want to take the lead go, kasi kaya ko naman mag adjust at maging hindi bida. kaya gusto ko mas naka focus sa kanila yung vlog at kung ano mga ginagawa nila. I want to highlight him sa vlogs so lahat ng gingawa niya nififilm ko pero yung sakin mostly hindi na. We had a great time, masaya kami, nagtatawanan kami. I am sorry if it came off bad para sa inyo. We had a great time but at the end of the day you can believe what you want to believe 🙂

Hi Marvin, just a piece of unsolicited advise for the future if magho-host ka ulit ng foreigner friends dto sa Pinas. Learn to take the lead. For example, when buying foods in the market, choosing from the menu, and search for bits of information if you are to recommend foods. Anson is lost and is very unfamiliar to the place so you should be leading him and explaining things to him. This isn't a hate comment. I follow your daily uploads and I think it'all help you improve in the future.

actually medyo naguluhan ako, parang naging small laude ang lolo --- parang hindi alam ang kalakaran sa palengke. funny. si anson very authentic, pero I feel like marvin is putting a show ng very light --i hope hindi fake yan kasi sabi mo nga, breadwinner ka growing up-- medyo very princess ang peg. practice pa more sa pagiging good host!!! buti is anson, maabilidad, hindi pretentious, si pinoy host ang alagain... well done!

The video seems very chill and fun, and it's very entertaining! Sir Marvin, usually provided na ang "PARILLA" (griller or metal.mesh/net) kasama nang ihawan. Uling at ung marinated meat/poultry na lang kulang!!! Ewan lang kung may pangdingas kayo at posporo (or lighter) to start the fire. (Parehi kasi kaying non-smoker!!!).
