I recommend you channel and showed your videos to a lot of people. their response was " I'm sure they have some Indian blood in them or they are some sort of Brazilian, that's why their hair grows". I told them it's sheer effort but most black African women don't want to believe this is possible for a black woman. Would be very helpful if you can please make a video to maybe explain your heritage and also explain to the ladies that it is possible to be pure black and grow long beautiful hair. Thank you girls and God bless you! Btw, I am a testimony. My hair grow from short to over the shoulders length in one year as a result of me watching your videos and doing what I learned from you guys. I am mixed race and my hair wouldn't grow before.
@holyexperience19764 жыл бұрын
For those people to understand even if someone is mixed, a person can be more mixed than me, but can still have 100% Black hair. I am mixed 3 ways, but you would not know it by my hair alone. Just like someone can be part Black, and whichever else, but have fully Black looking complexion and features, hair can be the same way. For that reason, I would take a mix person's hair tutorial who is part Black as seriously as someone who is full Black if that mixed person has Black hair and not mixed hair.

My hair stabilizes at collar bone. I hope to grow up to 6 more inches. I would love to have more styling options for I am not one to always wear same hair style. My hair is a little above collar bone as I recently self trimmed and accidently took a little too much off just before last Christmas, but wanted to do it myself for you know how stylists are. Very awesome you are mixed. I am Apache/Cherokee/Black/Scot.

using an oil is so vital to the deep conditioning process. I personally use organic jojoba oil and it adds shine and moisture to my hair. I need to get my hands on the shea moisture oil shes using!
@misskorea71349 жыл бұрын
+sly 5722 I actually use it many different ways a dime size or smaller amount in my shampoo a dime size in my conditioner and wash out a quarter or dime size in my deep conditioner when I deep condition. I put my hair in a cap add some heat with a blow dryer and wash out. It's a very light weight oil so it doesn't stick around in my hair. I have a mixture of 3a and 3b hair. I personally like the wash oils out because they weigh my fine texture hair down.

Yes you should. Leaving deep conditioner in over night isn't good since it can cause too much protein in your hair and that will make it frail.

shayna gonzalez I know it can cause moisture overload for some people. I've personally never got it and when I wear my hair curly I co-wash for my wash and go's every day. So for me sleeping with a deep conditioner on over night causes no problems. I just figure the OP knows how sleeping with a deep conditioner affects her head since she's been doing it.
@AdaezeCUche9 жыл бұрын
Thanks y'all for the advice! It really helps! My hair is protein sensitive so I never leave protein treatments in overnight. And I've personally never gotten moisture overload from leaving DCs in overnight. I just think a hooded dryer will be quicker and will help the conditioner penetrate even more. 😊 Thanks again y'all!

Yolanda Wright hello, I would like to thank you and your sister on yall hair videos. I saw a video last week and I said these girls can help me with my granddaughter hair. She is 8 years old and hair is long curly and thick. She is also extremely tender headed. She cry from the time u start until the time we finish which for a wash time could that 3hrs. She is natural and I want her to stay that way and love her beautiful hair, She came over SUNDAY night and I followed yall curly wash and go routine. See did not cry and she was tried and at that time she acts worse. she watch yall and she didn't cry once. she say when I get older I can wear my hair down like them. I told her I will see. lol.. I will be trying out other products on her to find that prefect on. thanks again and continue the great work, if you have some tips or recommended products I could use please let me know,

In another video you both talked about only applying deep conditioner from the ears-down (roots not needed). Here you do begin from your ear down but you also move up to your roots. I would like to know if it is fine like this when it's just the residue or something that's put in there or if it depends on the type of deep conditioner used?

Good Afternoon Ladies - do you recommend using the entire line of Macadamia products? I used the Mask on my daughters hair - which I couldn't believe that I was actually able to run my fingers threw her hair after rinsing it out. What about using the shampoo? Would her hair benefit from using it?

What products do you use to stop dryness. A few days after deep conditioning my hair gets really dry. I use oils leave in conditioner EVERYTHING! I'm transitioning
@sillygoose28099 жыл бұрын
Happened to me.. Cutting my hair in June. Have braids in now but everytime I left in any moisturizer, my hair would just soak it up and become super dry. Then my end would break. I guess its a part of transitioning. Good luck with everything though.
@Tyster819 жыл бұрын
Is your deep conditioner protein based? Maybe you should follow up with a moisture mask? You also can re-moisturize. There's nothing that says you can't
@Tashie__09 жыл бұрын

Try cowashing! It helped me out big time with the dryness. Kelsey & Kendra cowash as well
@Tyche099 жыл бұрын
T Wiley as TyKing stated before...your deep conditioner is probably protein based. Any conditioner that uses the words "repair, restore, reconstruct, or for damaged hair" usually are. My beautician advises me to only use moisturizing conditioners because protein based conditioners will make your hair dry, dull, and brittle over time. Hopefully this helps.
