Hi Tracey, For the first time in a few weeks I watched on VR, it's easy to forget how immersive it is, you hear each squelch and gust. Don't think I would want to attempt that alone, though surprisingly there were a few others about. Amazed at how cold it was. Cheers for now Graham

@gberish602 thanks Graham ...yeah it would be a lonely place in the mist and confusing ground , oh dear I hope I didn't make any untoward sounds haha

Glaramara is a grand fell with that interesting scramble which as you showed you don't have to do. Pity about the mist at the top but at least you'd been up there in better weather. The undulating and winding path over to Ros. Fell/Bessyboot can be confusing in mist (at least to me) but thankfully you had decent weather by then. Terrific video as usual.

@gbfch thank you Graham , I was relieved when it cleared as like you say we would have to keep checking GPS otherwise and would then become a navigational exercise instead of just enjoying the walk ...atb to you

Hi Tracey, loved this walk, so glad you managed to get some views after the clouds had shifted. It's a very rugged landscape isn't it. I loved the view up the valley to Combe head and Combe Door, absolutely stunning. Have a lovely week, all the best Dave

Super video Tracey. I cant believe we didnt do at least Bessy Boot when we camped at Stonethwaite the other week especially as it towered above our tent. At least we got eagle crag done which was my preference 🙂 Definately Glaramara and Bessy on our next camp if its not misty. You and Andy make it look so easy walking fromone to the other but im sure we would be going round in circles 😅
@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild4 ай бұрын
@tonypilki3 haha it's only because we have walked them a few times now otherwise we would have our heads permanently glued to our mobiles looking at our gpx route ...I must admit my preference would always be Eagle Crag , just love it.

Did this exact walk Saturday 27th July, warm rain all the way up but no wind at all. Trails were hard to find at times, but as you did, we went around the faint path up to Glaramara. Great video as always 😁👍

@tonymcdonald3898 thanks Tony 😊 it would be a challenging walk in poor visibility. We were glad it cleared.

@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild by the time we got to Combe Door the sun had come out and it was glorious on Bessyboot 😁
