Wow thanks Glad you liked it. As you know my channel is quite varied in places and just wanted to try another guided tour but more of its heritage and history. This wasn't the easiest videos to do due to so much narration having to be cut and keeping the flow going but it is a very special place and I bet there are many Glaswegians who have no idea how important it is. Thanks sir. Glad you enjoyed it. Little secret....this took sssoooo long to edit and nearly at one point didn't bother with it. It was researching cutting the audio and trying to make it all make sense and fit in what I had taken but not making it too long was a nightmare lol. Amazing place and I've totally taken it for granted but not now as really a cornerstone of Glasgow as we know it. Very enjoyable In 1957 I was working at the Royal Inf. and in my lunchtime would have a wee gander around the Cathedral,or go down the High St. to my uncles .( In the building with the St Mungo mural. There was a wee spey wife just past Barlinnie who used to read our tea leaves..she was fair canny.

Hi Bill...this took me an eternity to research, edit, cut and make it work. I was getting really frustrated with this one and nearly threw it in the skip but I had put a bit of time into it and actually felt that with so many interesting facts about it kept going with it. Honestly it's well worth a visit and with a few facts of its history under your belt you will see it a bit differently. I totally took it for granted but it's the cornerstone and foundation to what Glasgow is now. As I say if walls could talk. Thanks sir. Glad you enjoyed this. Inside secret..it took me so long to do and at one point was just going to bin it but couldn't bring myself to do it. I had done the research and tried to cut it so it made a bit of sense lol. The place is unreal. The good and the not so good all stepped foot here and there was so many other stories about it thatbI could have mentioned. I think though that a fair percentage of Glaswegians would be able to tell you that St Mungos tomb is here and the fact that it was the foundation and corner stone for the beginning of Glasgow. Hi guys Glad you enjoyed it. This place really is a foundation stone for the makings of what Glasgow is and tbh I never knew it until I did a bit of a deep dive into it. So many historical figures walked through these doors. I feel that even if you're not religious it doesn't matter as there is no denying how important it is. The fact that Glasgow had a castle right next to it where Wallace fought and told over and St Mungo a very significant figure in Glasgow is laid to rest here..its absolutely astounding history.
