A magnificent line-up of preserved and current buses. My brother worked for Optare in Leeds, and previously at Falkirk as a bus design engineer. In the early 1960’s I rode some of the Glasgow Corporation buses, and the trams as well. Sat in the cab of a tourist operation Routemaster in Edinburgh in 2010, a big thrill as I am a bus driver in New Zealand. My company operates a mixed fleet of secondhand MAN’s, and my regular bus is a twenty year old three-axle MAN with a Voith 3-stage automatic gear box, very smooth, and for its age a very easy bus to drive. Mostly used for cruise ship shuttles and some private hire jobs that we call “a Metro job”. It is ex-Auckland suburban fleet, so probably done at least half a million kilometres!

what a load of beautiful beautiful vehicles, thank you. you have a lot of trucks up in scotland how about you do them. i have subscribed. good good work. im from hull, it looks like some buses have the same livery as hull city council

I worked at the Brigeton garage back in mid 70s doing bus c.o.fs loved it had a lot of fun with some mental choobs i worked alongside,,, great days indeed.

That Leyland Leopard SCS335M at 3.41, who owns it? I used to drive that back in 1992 when Scarlet Band owned it from West Cornforth. Also used to drive SCS 333M thatvhad Air assist power steering. Be nice to see 335M again
