Hi @Glasguensis after wee bit research over 25 000 ships built on Clyde Mostly Navel Ships during first and second World war 24 Hours round the clock Glaswegians worked one built revery week and then on to fitting then then out and then trials Unfortunately those days are gone big thanks for viewing Alrx 📽️

Another wee gem, Alrx. I've always loved the Clyde Steamers. I spent my childhood holidays in Lochranza on Arran. The highlight of the week was the steamer coming in to the pier. I remember sailing to Campbeltown on Duchess of Hamilton in 1969, her last year. I wasn't in Campbeltown again till last year. I will need to take a ride there on my bike. I hear that the TS Queen Mary is to sail again, brilliant news!

Thanks Alistair glad you enjoyed about a few years ago went to Kilgreggan to board Waverly as Helensburgh pier not suitable anymore it never turned up broke down at Gourock about thirty disappointed people's myself being one take care Alrx 📽️

I think Queen Mary is only being restored for static display. She is without engines, so there's not much chance of her returning to service.
