The Tennent's Promotion girls at 3:28 has Carol Smillie at the far left. But then who did I spot in the middle? None other than Michelle Mone, now Baroness Mone of Mayfair and currently embroiled in controversy, accused fraudulent activity during the pandemic and of lying to parliament and the press!

Used to work in Sammy Dow's . Med evil banquet (as much as you can eat, on an extremely thin paper plate ) 3 course meal + a drink of your choice for £1.20. Used to supply the food to the Star bar ,still doing the cheap 3 course meal, amongst others. I was on a £1 an hour and was as happy as larry.

Hi, can you please tell me the source of the first photograph (titled Battlefield Road 1925). I believe it's the frontage of McAlister's Opticians at 182 Battlefield Road. From the 1911/1912 Glasgow PO directory it was a newsagents...Jas. Murdoch so probably still that newsagents in 1925. McAlister's would like to hang the photo in their shop and would like to trace the source.

I've managed to source a copy of the book and purchased it today. Thanks very much for your help. Loving your videos by the way.
