My grandparents lived out in cape George and as a child( 11 or 12) I wondered my way from the cape George Beach all the way to Glass Beach once and hadn't realized how far I'd actually gone it's quite the hike. I'm lucky my mom lives in that house and I can hike from the private community cape George outto glass beach when north beach is full in parking in the summer. it's nice to have that option as it's not a public beach and cars without stickers get towed immediately.

Isnt it peoples bottles and broken pieces that get smoothed over by the waves over time?
