Being doing "Spool" research for a couple of days and yours is hands down the best! We too have a very small yard and you've motivated us, immensely. Thank you for sharing!

smontes2010 You’re welcome! It was really fun to design, and plan. I wish I could’ve afforded the “light waves” custom glass vertical tiles. That would’ve been my first choice, but overall I’m pleased with the turnout. If you’re going to do a waterfall look into a rain fall waterfall. Mine is a solid sheet of water and it often has breaks in it.

@@theartladyshome1169 You can tell, as it comes across in the video and of course the finished product. Thank you for the tips, it's truly appreciated! Btw, we keep rewatching it 👍🙂

Good morning Ms. Art Lady, So, my son and I took rough measurements yesterday and it looks like we have an area 30' Long by 16' Wide to work with. Is this close to the dimensions you used by any chance? Thank you in advance for your time 🙂
@ArtLadyChannel4 жыл бұрын
smontes2010 your dimensions are actually bigger. From the two double doors to the screen room it was 12 feet. And from the windows of the main house behind the hot tub to the other end of the pool was 28 feet.If I can’t I’ll attach a photo. The pool is 22 ft long. Walls 1 foot and between window and pool 4 ft.

@@ArtLadyChannel Hello Ms. Art Lady. Wow! Then that makes it more impressive. I feel the attention to detail is what sets it apart. Yes, please, that would be great. We are happy to know we have the room to work with and we will make sure to take our time. I would also like to mention that my wife loves your selection of the beads for the flooring 👍 Thank you again for your guidance, Ms. Art Lady 😊

Thank you so much for showing the results of the finish both at day and night, and the lighting. It pretty much cements my decision to have this kind of finish when I eventually get a pool.

My wife and I bought a home in Deland, FL in November. Our community has a pool, but we’ve been thinking about building a small one...similar to yours in the backyard. I saw your response of the builder, I’ll check them out. Your pool turned out nice!!

What a beautiful spool/jacuzzi! We have a big empty pool right now and not much backyard space. I was wishing to have the pool made into a spool and have the other half of the pool filled in to allow more patio space. Do you, or anyone on here, know if this is something that can be done? May I ask how much this cost? Thank you and great job! You have a beautiful oasis! 💖
@ArtLadyChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yes I’m pretty sure this can be done. If not the whole thing torn up and redone. The builder would have to look at the site to determine this. Most of it depends on the piping and plumbing for the pool. What I like about small pools is the cost is a bit less, and way less to upkeep. It also uses less chemicals, and less time cleaning. Good luck.

Really really beautiful pool...planning one at our home...what is the total sq ft of the pool ?
@theartladyshome11693 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure about the total square footage, but I believe it was 72 linear feet around the water line. It’s a weird shape, almost L shaped. The Shelf or beach area, I believe is 12‘ x 8 or nine. The swimming area in front of the wall Looks is 19-22 feet long by 10 to 12 feet wide, depending on where you’re measuring from. I’m planning on making a video about the exact size, measurements and space in the backyard. It’s a very small pool, in a really small yard.

About to break ground on a spool in Palm Springs, CA. Watched your entire Vlog other night. Don’t think we have enough budget or space to even go this big. Doing one smaller. Mind if I ask if this was around a $50k project? We only have about 35k budget. You did a great job on this 🤙🏾

I'm not sure about the price of pools where you live, you might be able to get it for that. Price goes by where you live and who you know. My sister was the builder...LOL All the little extras are what drive up the price: Glass bead bottom, fully automated system to control features and pool, the heater (mine is a huge one), a screen room, and the wall, all were extras that bumped up the price. We also jetted the pool, and that we could have lived without. If I were to do it again to save costs, I would add the wall after myself, add heater after....that drove up taxes. If you can do the deck yourself that will save money as well.
