Thank you for this excellent video. I was happily surprised to see that you're in Sydney. We're in the north of Sydney and will soon be looking at resurfacing both the pool and the area around it. I look forward to being in touch. Cheers - David

I read complaints of sealants making the chosen product slippery ? Is this for only certain types? Thanks!
@armstoneau4 жыл бұрын
Some cheap sealants can make stones slippery, particulary the wet-look sealers.

Cheers... I did not hear which pavers would be best option. The ones above the T3 category?? cheers
@armstoneau3 жыл бұрын
Go for Limestone or Marble, just make sure they are salt tested as not all Limestones pavers are suitable to use around the pool.

I had a 10x24 salt vinyl water pool installed last summer. We’re trying to DIY coping and small patio around the pool. Any tips or recommendation on coping? I’m a bit concern about safety along the edges of the coping. Are there soft coping? Or in general the only options is pavers or concrete coping?
@armstoneau4 жыл бұрын
Hi Livie, i am not sure if you can stick stones on vinyl sheets. What is the coping material now on your pool ? is it in-ground pool ?

Hi is it normal for some pool deck tiles to have minor cracks around the edges? Thank you

Natural stones have hair line fractures but most of the times these are not visible. not sure what you have on your pool deck, I need to see pictures first

Love your videos - very informative as I shop for a pool. When you say limestone paver - is travertine a good option for a salt water pool? And should I request anything particular from the pool company when selecting the travertine option? And lastly - should I request that the travertine is sealed? Thanks in advance
@armstoneau4 жыл бұрын
Not all travertines are ok to use around the salt water pool but most of them have that tumbled finish are slippery when wet hence why we dont recommend Tumbled Travertine around swimming pools for that reason. All pool pavers need to have P4 or P5 Slip rating. please check with your supplier

They look like Natural Travertine Pavers but most of them are Travertine-look Porcelain Pavers or Natural Limestone/Marble pavers. See the link below to view the range of Stone-look Porcelain pavers: www.armstone.com.au/products/porcelain-pavers/
