@@trevorwhatever2050 it was totally there just in a minor sense compared to today. i think in 2011 it was just coming around to forming and having a name. this is definitely some kind of proto-djent in its historical role. materially it basically is djent right? i agree but i think its almost before djent was really a thing in the popular conscience of the hardcore and metal scene. hope that makes sense.
