Just wondering Ryo, why do most people put the lily pipes at the front of the aquarium. I thought it would be better to have them at the back of the aquarium making them even harder to see.

Coming from Christchurch,New Zealand I'll give you a little earthquake tip, the tank will topple over and smash well before the house collapses in a decent size earthquake. Best to secure it to the wall in some form.

Congrats, it's look really good ! :) I'm curious... How expensive are these Lily Pipe in Japan, the home country of ADA ? Because in Europe, these two pieces costs around 90€ and 110€, that is a really high price. I wonder how much the shipping cost to Europe influence the price here.
@adinawatson85444 жыл бұрын
In the US its $120 - $150 for each piece

Ryo, can you tell me is the ADA brand expensive for typical Japanese guy ? In Europe ADA is very expensive, for example: You can buy even 3xinflow and 3xoutflow pipes (other brands) in the same price like ADA. I know that ADA is a Top quality ( I've got some products). I'm just curious because people in europe say: ADA isn't expensive for Japanese people.

I love big earthquakes and the tsunamis they bring along LOL just kidding. :/ I meant I love your new L. pipes congrats. by the way, you forgot to mention the heating process do by heating water then dipping the hose on the warm/hot water ; ) people may think to torch the thing!
@omegachar47544 жыл бұрын
Sorry to say this but at 6:00, that's not pearling. That's a gas release from a damaged plant. Either a fish nipped at it or it got nicked during trimming causing a quick release of built-up gas. Pearling is usually a lot slower with larger sized bubbles coming from all over the plant, not a steady stream from 1 specific point. I'm not saying your tank is not doing good, just that it's a common misconception. If someone can proof me wrong I'd welcome it, because that means I've got pearling especially every time I trim my plants lol.

ı want to know, do you always turn the light on in the day? Some of my friends say it mustn't be open everyday.
@adinawatson85444 жыл бұрын
Idk if he does but everything I've read and heard says if you use mid or high light plants it has to be on every day starting at the same time and ending at the same time for 8-12 hours but if you want algae (like for breeding shrimp or snails) more time with the light helps

Hello Ryo, I would like to know what you do for aeration in the aquarium.I can see your airstone but do you have it turned on for the whole day or only when you have your lights off(approximately like 16 hours a day if your light is on for 8 hours).Also doesn't pumping in too much air inside the water displace the co2 in the water causing massive increase in pH, even though ADA amazonia can buffer it a bit
@khoozichen92554 жыл бұрын
Ryo i have a pond about 50 gallons i was wondering what kind of filtration or air pump i need to use? Like for example how many sponge filters do i need or may be a hang on back and a sponge filter??? So confusing please leave some recommendations down below. And also do i need a heater in my pond??? I am from Malaysia. I learned something today about lily pipes. Love your vids.
