Glass milk deliveries go up in the Borders

We need to have glass returned to modern society. Plastic is killing us.

There is another way: If and when the milkman will deliver a small tanker and we could buy using our own containers. There has to be a clean efficient way to do this. If we can fill our cars this way, we can fill our milk bottles too.

Nobody will do it. Its too old. People only relied on them back then. But now people have supermarkets.

@@Xelenteontae_Supermarkets are our downfall. We are buying everything in plastic bottles, containers, packages and sealed containers. Then we go to the counter and are told we can't use plastic bags because they're bad for the environment.

@@Xelenteontae_ You really don't think people would prefer to fill glass bottles outside their doors with fresh milk. Real milk went sour in two days. That's what milk should do. Now it's dead before you buy it.

Think they should get more drivers and split up the deliveries rather than add loads on to a single run I think they'd keep more drivers that way although I'm sure they must be aware of that yet Choose not to acknowledge it , other than that it's a really good job nightshift is a bit hard if your not used to it trying to sleep in daylight

My mum and I do get our milk from MC Queen Diaries , they deliver eggs orange juice too
