Lovely painting, nice tutorial. I was a bit puzzled by your comment “Vince uses only gluten free paints because he’s allergic to dairy”. Dairy proteins are different than gluten proteins. Did you mean Vince uses casein/whey free paints because he’s allergic to dairy? Just wondering.

I loved the simplicity of this painting. I’m not sure if you mentioned what colour you used for the liquid in the glass? The tip for making black was helpful as a reminder. Perhaps you would consider demonstrating how to paint a crystal glass and also table linen with lace edge? There is a shortage of such subjects on KZbin. There is also a need for demonstrating how to paint roses and peonies. There are lots of videos but only three or four are effective. Good luck with your online work...it’s catching on! 👍👏🎨

Oil is forgiving. If it gets out of control you can wipe a section out and start fresh or let it dry (patience required) and have another go right on top.
