Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if KZbin denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?

Fun fact: Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the voice of the Hourly Dong. It’s a tradition that he appears or cameos in all of Rian Johnson’s films. In the first Knives Out, he was the voice of Det. Hardrock on the TV show Marta’s sister was watching at the beginning of the film.

So many clues that we all missed...Like Blanc calling her "Helen" before she was shot. Also, Miles could have thought she survived (they kind of hint that) since he left her in her car to die. In his Dumb mind she could have woken up and got out and went to the island.

Another one I caught was when they all arrive on the island and Miles takes everyone to the house, leaving Benoit and Helen as Andi on the beach, she walks up to Benoit and says “This rich people shit is weird”.

I agree that Glass Onion isn’t as good as the original, but it stands on its own merits. Rain Johnson really is creative in how he takes the the standard tropes of whodunnits and spins it on the audience. First one was that is wasn’t a traditional whodunnit despite the classic feel. Second it’s putting the most obvious answer in our face, but much like how Miles can spin and gaslight his friends, the movie gaslights us into thinking it can’t be that simple. My favorite aspect of the film is how even though the first false murder mystery we’re shown doesn’t come till the second half, it’s revealed that Benoit and Helen have been playing the murder mystery under our noses all along.

I think what I enjoyed a lot about this movie is that we start watching it and we're just wondering when the murder is going to happen but then the big reveal comes that we've been in the murder mystery the entire time

Blanc said "Trust me it's all in plain sight" which is funny because if you watch the movie the details are there. I remember Miles handing Duke the glass and seeing the cell phone in Miles back pocket when they said before in the movie that he doesn't have a phone. But I still had fun with this one.

Something I finally noticed is that when "Andi" arrives, Bron merely sounds surprised and we chalk it up to the bad history that he wouldn't expect her to accept the invitation. But it's really perplexity and disappointment she's not dead. I also just realize Derol is just a "clumsy clue" meant to distract us. So many people (myself included) thought he was just so randomly placed that he's probably going to ne significant.

The structure is a fuge. As yo yo ma states at the beginning a fuge is a melody that when layered over itself changes the song and creates a whole new structure. And that’s exactly what happens. We see it one way, then we watch the whole thing again from a different perspective which recontextualizes the original viewing and changes everything. Even the music is done this way.

For me I think the first cast just had such a good chemistry even though all the characters hated each other. I also thought this was one was a bit too long but overall I still really enjoyed it (just not more than the first)

I HIGHLY recommend watching and reacting to THE LAST OF SHIELA. Its an all-star murder mystery from 1973 that inspired this movie. Similar idea of a rich person inviting friends (who really hate him) to play games. It was co-written by Stephen Sondheim who cameos in this film playing "Among Us" with Blanc.

I think that's the point though, Blanc said it was the most obvious answer cause Miles was an idiot. Its a commentary on rich billionaires who we think are smart but actually aren't. I much prefer this movie to Knives out.

I like this movie in a way that because the first one was unexpected, I just assumed that Miles couldn't be the murderer since it's too obvious. Just like how Blanc didn't think it was him, because he just expected that Miles couldn't be that dumb. I didn't really like the outcome either. The explosion could've killed them all which just reminded me that this is really just fiction. I get that it's how they wanted to show that Helen just followed the "disruption" thing... idk..

I thought this was a great movie with a great cast, and I really liked the unusual structure of the story. Daniel Craig was fantastic as always. The only thing I didn't like as much as the first one was the characters -- they are all so unlikeable. The characters in the first movie were *also* extremely unlikeable, yet somehow I liked them anyway. Less so in this one. However, I am glad that Janelle Monae finally got to be glamorous in a movie, since she is one of the most glamorous people IRL.
