Maybe 4HM could have just made alternate hair you can pop on and off like a lego guy? They did face plate swapping on Atilla 2, but maybe Thraice was tooled up long before they considered doing alt face?

Yeah, this preorder was a long time coming, they probably didn't have that idea yet. Although it does look like theyll start to lean on that feature now.

Yeah im more on the skeleton side of collecting for Mythic Legions, but i couldn't pass up on some evil wizard figures. You just don't see them offered anywhere else!

I like the Mythic Legions however most of the time the heads are not in-scale with the bodies used which makes them for me look awkward and more squatty looking than they actually are.

its true, it probably from the fact that Mythic Legions have a lot of inspiration off of the classic He-Man figures, i feel like they have been getting better at adjusting the size, but they have already locked in a style for these figures. Still though, the fantasy aspect of the figures, gives it a little bit of leeway, especially on the helmeted figures and other races.

Her portrait is making another appearance (ashes of AGBENDOR) . Spiritbendor 2, some cool blue chic. Are you getting any? I got 2 figs & 2 goblin sets. I’d get more but I don’t save much at these events. My tax & shipping go up around $250 range, to justify just pre’ing for $50, on BBToys or similar

I'm surprised they are reusing a named characters face, usually they are a bit defensive about that, but it was probably too good not to reuse, as it was a fan favorite. I'm deciding what i want to get right now, the goblin pack is a must have, its a shame that you'll need 2 to display them all. The golden skeleton is hilarious, its much better then the original! I hear you on that tax and shipping, its not as bad in the US, but wish they could get a better deal on shipping prices!

@@Glasseater yeah this face sculpt is cute, & I seen her in cosmic legions too. I’m hoping to see thraice & the CL’s version on sale this Christmas. Either way I’m getting em eventually because I’m a fan of this sculpt and I’m stoked for some goblins. Looking forward to those reviews! Meanwhile I like to rewatch old reviews

Glasseater, her head sculpt is tremendous. The use of soft goods adds dramatis personae to this action figures. The magic effect are rendered better then anticipated. For most of the folks who missed the preorder the In-stock sale cannot come too soon. Great review ✌️

Glad you enjoyed it! I see a lot of people are replacing Illythia's head with it, saying it makes for a better look, I'd have to agree, hopefully they make more sculpts like this!
