Ice pack cooling? That sounds interesting. I guess what for cooling yourself? I am trying to leave later in the year that’s why I picked November. It should be cooled off a little bit at least to drive with the windows down. I am going to bring a fan with me to put under the car I’m charging to see if that might help cool the battery.

Haven't watched your whole video but DTE = distance to empty; odo = odometer reading, but might be off (it might be in km). At 3:23, if you press + or -, you can tell it hey, I'm going to be able to achieve x.y miles/kWh. So, if you achieved 3.9 miles per kWh w/your current state of charge, you should be able to make it 158.7 miles until you hit 10% SoC. If your odo reading in Leaf Spy is off, try going to LeafSpy's settings and setting changing the "CAN Odometer in miles". See if it matches your dash.

I was playing with it after I left the charger. I did notice the plus and the minus and if I brought the kilowatts per hour down, I lost miles to the 10% battery, but I thought it read what you were getting from the CAN and was always up-to-date. I didn’t know you had to press the plus or minus to adjust to what you were getting when driving down the road. If you have any buddies that you watched that has videos on it that you like to support send me their video. I have looked for a few videos, but nothing really stands out yet to help me learn it. I did see Dte on Google and got the information about the distance to empty last night. That was one of the things I was curious about so I’m getting there. I got two months to figure all this stuff out lol be safe.

Larger battery capacity Leafs (e.g. 30, 40, 62, 60 kWh) have a higher number of gids on a full charge and their gid values where LBW, VLBW, and turtle will kick in will differ. It is NOT "kilowatts per hour". It is kilowatt-hours (that's a hyphen or dash, not a minus sign) and that's kilowatts multiplied by hours (kW * h --> kWh). If you charge at 25 kW * 1 hour --> 25 kWh came out of the charger. 25 kW * 2 hours --> 50 kWh. 6.6 kW * 1 hour --> 6.6 kWh 6.6 kW * 2 hours --> 13.2 kWh If you received 50 kWh in 2 hours --> 50 kWh / 2h --> 25 kW since h divided by h cancels out. 25 kWh / 1h --> 25 kW There's no per because per means division. kW/h makes no sense in the context of EVs. Maybe if you had a megawatt power plant and you were talking about how quickly it could ramp up to 1 megawatt output... Unfortunately, I no longer have a Leaf (been gone since mid-2021). Also, if you press and hold in near the upper right of Leaf Spy, orange blocks show come up kinda telling you what each section is. If you tap the hamburger menu in the upper right, you should get a dialog box. If you go to About & Help > Application Help, that's the manual. I noticed now he tells the that once you've run it, it tells you where on your device the PDF should be. You'll need to browse its file system. :)

Do you charge your leaf at the rv site through a 30amp socket? Do you used your nissan charging cable for that? Or does it flip the breaker?

Some campgrounds I do charge using the Nissan provided Cable some campgrounds. Do not like it when you plug-in like the one I met now. It does not trip the breaker it handles it just fine. I do end up lowering to lower kilowatt. I try and lower it down to 24 if I’m using the non-provided cable from Nissan.
