Glassing a surfboard | Freaky Fish part 3

In this video I will show you how I laminated (glassed) this surfboard. I painted the foam and laminated over the top of it. It turned out very well!

Hi Geert, Thanks for your videos. Im trying to learn from it. Can you tell me when you use a vacuum for laminating and when not?

I use vacuum for getting carbonfibre around the rails and to get the best strength to weight ratio. Carbon tends te bend back from the rails , so the vaccuumbag keeps it tight around the corners. The combination of peelply and absorber results in a perfect mixture of epoxy and fibres
