Glastonbury 2015 - Serious Stages - Behind The Scenes

Serious Stages designed, manufactured and installed the new ‘Other Stage’ at Glastonbury Festival, 25th - 28th June, 2015.
The Event Industry News Film Crew went on site less than a week before the festival opened it's doors to learn about the 'Other Stage' and of course the iconic Pyramid Stage.
Serious Stages' Simon Fursman talks exclusively to Event Industry News about constructing this new stage for the first time and tells us about some of the other 60 structures the company installed across the 900 acre site.

Are there any festivals in the world bigger than Glastonbury? I mean.... There might be, but I don't think there's any that are any better.

Prefer the big centre mixing / lighting desk in the crowd rather than 2 / 3 areas at the Pyramid stage. They may be lower, but take up way too much crowd space at the front.

Work for local crewing companies/agencies.

@@MadJack122 but I guess the locals are like labourers who get hired in each city, where as the riggers, crane guys, steel crew travel with the stage.
