Wonderful video. Spent several hours (not nearly enough though) here in June of 2013. The energies I felt here were tremendous. Very emotional experience for me here at the Abbey , the Chalice Well and the Tor. I felt so connected here in Glastonbury. Two wonderful things also happened surrounding my visit. I bought a pair of moonstone earrings at a little shop there and didnot read the enclosed card until on the way to Heathrow.... it told that the moonstone was/is the protector of women; especially those traveling over water (which I was about to fly back across the Atlantic Ocean to home. Then when I got home and shared 5000 (yes 5000) photos, my daughter says she bought a necklace and earrings at a local shop here in Augusta Georgia and guess what..... they were the Chalice Well cover!!!! I will come back here ...... one day.

Visited Glastonbury on our honeymoon way back in 1997....drank from the Chalice well, walked up the Tor, visited the chapel/abbey... recognize all of this....a wonderfully mystical place:) Hope to return someday:)

Fantastic posting. This is the most thorough of historical information on the history of Glastonbury I have yet to come across ever. There is such special and deeply historical & spiritual significance to Glastonbury that we have yet to still discover. I find it fascinating that there is so little mention historically about Joseph of Arimathea and Yeshua about Glastonbury. This should say alot of about how important Glastonbury was spiritual if not only Joseph of A came here but also took Yeshua with him. The energy there must b palpable since there are sooo many concerts and gatherings annually.

I made 925 sterling silver hoop i.e. spiritual circle earrings for my first time ever, in my first silversmithing class ever; then in taking a photo of my earrings I put one on top of the other to form a Vesica Pisces! Rubbish and inaccurate claims. Glastonbury is a massive tourist con. The Abbey was built in 941AD well after the time of King Arthur of Glamorgan and Gwent born c. 503AD. Peter Knight is making it up without a scrap of evidence for what he says. If anyone wants the genuine historical Arthur of Britain, The Uther Pendragon III, take a look at the work of Alan Wilson and Baram Blackett who have written at least 10 books, many of them about Arthur Penuchel (one of his names) - look them up on the web. BTW there were two King Arthurs chronicled in British history for their deeds. They were real, folks. Wilson and Blackett know where they are buried, and much more. As for Joseph of Arimathea, neither had he anything to do with Glastonbury. At the time of Arthur II, Glastonbury was a swamp. A king would not have his court in a swamp.

You are looking at history through OUR modern day eyes. You MUST read Church history first. Up until the year 1050 ALL priests were married. The Apostles were married. The church changed it because the High Priest, during his time performing sacrifices, abstained from sex with his wife. Since priests in the Catholic Church perform the Sacrifice of the Mass which is the offering of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ every day, it was believed that they must be chaste. Since this is historical fact, the church had no issue if Christ were married. Everyone including the Pope was. This idea that he must have been married and the church took it out, is our ignorance of history. Mary Magdalene was portrayed as 'apostolorum apostola' the Apostle to the Apostles by Saint Thomas Aquinas - not the Bible. Mary anointed the feet and head of Christ with the most expensive oil of the day. Christ told her to keep it to anoint his body at burial. He is charging her to perform a Holy Act and that she was faithful to His Word, she was the one to see the Risen Lord first. No where, not even in the Gnostic Gospels does it say that Mary and Christ were married. Also, in Gnosticism, a Gospel is considered a Gospel even if it has no historical connection to actual factual events. It is simply inspired by the idea, and eyes of Gnostic belief and that Christianity was the major spiritual movement of the day therefore, had many sects on board that it was so popular. The council of Nicea was formed to confirm whether Christ was born God and Man or, earned Godhood upon his death and subsequent resurrection. It was believed by the Christianity that He was God and Man at birth because he came for the purpose of reconciling Man to God as the Man/God. He uses, before the council before Caiaphas "I AM" and "You will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds" which is a reference to God in the book of Daniel. The Holy Family were not "High born" Joseph was a "Tecton" which means handyman. The "Inn" at Bethlehem was the lower part of the home where the animals were kept.

I’m a bit more scared, nearly now terrified too (not eg Holy obedient fear) of my church peers & Catholic Cathedral (a place also where Ex Cardinal George Pell presided as Archbishop.) I’m terrified of them, because they keep telling, wishing financial hardship on me, wishing I’d stay lower class $0 poor, even after COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdowns without wishing me better financial opportunities blessing for financial relief, that’s people in the Cathedral too! It terrifies me because it doesn’t let me, support me to be able to earn enough funds to pay all my bills, pay for my car, & rent or buy my house & food etc or buy a farm for my living like my cousins in the country own & run a cattle station, or buy a vineyard-winery; I can’t buy my business stock to sell or do my art; I feel betrayed & like they’re just spying on all my finances to keep me ‘poor & dumb’, & like they actually WANT me starving, giving me to Satan, & living on the street! I can’t sort of go higher to overpower their negative wishing onto me! What do I do? Anyone know what I can do? I’m so, so, so, so sorry Lord Jesus & Our Lady that people won’t let me financially budget & work properly & successfully from my current budget, more productively.
