Glastonbury Carnival 2018 - Behind the Scenes

Glastonbury, the final carnival of the season. Not much to do during the day, but it was a great carnival with a great crowd.
After the carnival, its time to take the cart back to the shed for another year.

I didn't want to distract you too much as road closures are not easiest of jobs when there are some idiot drivers that don't understand the road closure signs lol. I know as I did road closures for Frome carnival about two years ago lol. Will you be helping with Frome road closures again next year again. I don't know if you know. I will be a Honiton carnival on Saturday if you are there.

No, I won’t be at Honiton, I’m done with carnivals for this year! lol You marshalled for Frome carnival 2 years ago? So did I... I’ve done it for the past 4 years. I’m normally at the top of Bath St. Which closure were you on?

@@CarnivalBen I don't do it anymore as really busy with work. I done it once to help out they were looking for helpers. I was at the Butts, a turning that on the right that goes into an housing estate. I might give it another go this year but I want to be able to film the carnival at the same time to keep my channel going lol.

You should try being road crew captain and filming at the same time lol, but yeah you can’t really marshal while filming. Did you get any footage of the Christmas lights event for your channel? Or do you keep it to just carnival vids?

It's an amazing carnival, the floats are incredible, the heat from all the bulbs is staggering, enough KW,s of power between all the generators to power an entire town, s bit too much sword waving for my liking tho, sharpens up the air, makes for a weird vibe
