Another great video! You’re standing right in front of a dirt dauber nest at 47:00. It’s under the corner of that work bench.

So glad you did this video!! Do you soft fire your pieces prior to glazing?

I think that’s what he is doing.

If you remember what drew me to you in the first place, was because you are "what I call" a clean thrower. I see people that end up wit half of the tray filled wit water! People need to learn that not much water is necessary except maybe when centering the clay. Some also don't understand the concept of reinforcing the pot with maybe rib? Do you use wax resist on your lidded pots to avoid lids sticking to the body? I do and I also wax resist on the bottom of the pots. At the class I see students spending the valuable time there scraping the glaze off the bottom of their pots! thereby wasting so much time and wasting all the glaze they are removing too. sigh Anyway, similar to you Matt, glazing is the thing I like the least of all other processes involved. I have ruined pieces before, due to not taking glazing seriously enough. Because I hate doing it I tend to rush through the process also. I hope to get some ideas from your glazing techniques. I only use white earthenware so somewhat limited when it comes to glazing. I've learned much from your throwing techniques since following you for over 2 years now, maybe 3 years and gained much inspiration. Watching you glaze makes me think how much I'd be worth financially if I'd got a $ for each one I've glazed LOL 10's of thousands at a rough guess.
