Can someone explain the logistical reasons why the lens cutter wouldn’t be able to cut polycarbonate lenses? Is it due to potential warping or fracturing?

I might be pushing the envelope, but these days even in the Third World countries, people tend to go with the latest the Frameless, Since I have lived in Nigeria for 7 years and currently in Jamaica since 14 years. I was looking for assembly of Frameless Glasses too, but in vain. Wonder if you have any links you could forward me or any info you have .
