Nothing wrong with gleaners . We love ours they work extremely well and the cost of ownership is low. We have the same amount of acres per hour ran with 2 s98 gleaners as we had with 2 johndeere s680s if not more . The most impressive part is the grain sample we have no cracked corn no cob in the tank even in 250 - 300 bushel corn. I'd put my gleaner up against any other brand the only machine I think might do better would be a claas 8900 . We have ran case and johndeere as well and they are nice machines but we like our gleaners . Take care!

@@BriansFarmingVideos dad tried and it helped some with the loss but I think dad put his back in and it worked out well I left mine in all along with no issues. We honestly aren't seeing to much loss maybe 1 or 2 kernels for every foot or so at the most but in 180 to 200 bushel dry corn we aren't seeing hardly any corn on the ground We figure we'll just send it . Our corn is running from 18 to 24 percent we switched back to corn today because it rained yesterday. We are thinking tomorrow the corn will run .

We cut 100 bu/A wheat one year (average is 50). What I remember is how slow it was -- combine in low gear, variable speed in slowest setting, always looking for a truck or grain cart, Then we'd get home and it would take twice as long to get ready for bed because it took so long to brush all the dirt out of your teeth because you were grinning all day!

Fun to see you guys getting excited over 300 on the monitor. We get that all the time with irrigation in the desert, but instead of trees ruining the edges, it's 100+ heat and 30mph wind. So 300 in the middle and 50 on the edges= regular old 200 something field average.

How are you planning to attack the wild cucumber? We carried it over from the farm we custom chop for to one of our own fields. Very little last year, bit more this year. Find their holes and drop a hose in and hook the other end to the tail pipe on your truck and let the truck idel if you can find and Blick the other end of the tunnel it works better , although the good thing about the rat poison is it dehydrates them so they run down to their water source and don't die under the bins and stink
