I have a similar issue with a Gledhill Stainess Lite. Did you find the cause and fix ? Thanks

Sorry for the slow reply, only just saw this. Yes! In fact, Gledhill tech support were very helpful - the gledhill engineer came out yesterday to fix it (the delay was due to my own scheduling, I was out of the country for 3 months). I haven't heard the noise today despite following my usual routine (e.g. shower after which usually I'd hear the noise as it heats up again) so I'm comfortable saying it's fixed. After I reported it by email, they initially sent out an engineer to check the system and confirm that is indeed the issue (which I think was mostly academic but I can understand them wanting to send a scout before scheduling more engineer time to do the actual fix - the guy who came to fix mine had driven down from Wakefield so I'm guessing he can only do 1-2 visits per day). Essentially the fix is pretty simple (he was lovely and I was checking in with him periodically) - he just drained/disconnected the tank, rotated it in place so he could get the the part where the outer casing seam is, drilled several small holes spaced evenly apart down the seam, put rivets into each one, then reconnected/tested everything and cleaned up - took about 2 hours in total. He told me it's a common problem and most of the warranty visits he does are the same issue, it's just cosmetic cos it's just the outer casing making noise as it expands - but understandably worrying to the user cos it can be kinda loud! They've since implemented an additional step to put these rivets in at the factory before shipping, so it's only folks who got tanks before they changed that which have the issue. Hope this helps!

I have the same tank with the same noise. Did the fix (3yrs ago) sort it out. I would have thought by now this would have been sorted on all the tanks.
