I think she's in the same level as Mercedes. They just make singers look less talented to make the character of Rachel shine. Celine isn’t the original artist. Eric Carmen is. Celine does have a beautiful voice but again, her rendition is simply another cover and not the original. Also, I still like this cover better than Celine’s simply because this version has a lot less vibrato, which I feel slightly gets in the way of the Celine’s vocals (whenever she belts the chorus is the best part of her cover). Both covers and the original song are still absolutely beautiful nonetheless.
