Only if they took away the changes the made to the ending of this song and the ending of 'Something's Coming' (they gave them both a more fan-faring sound which cheapens the songs) and so long as they could prove that Lea Michel could sing the original version of 'Somewhere' and not the Barbara Streisand version she auditioned with - I think it could improve her range if she proved that she could sing more than broadway-belting-ballads and go for something softer but equally powerful instead.

catgirl 0615 no, if you actually listened to the soundtrack you would see that a lot of the show has more typical broadway-style songs. That would be enough, wlwdwtys, burn. all these songs have no traces of rap or hip hop whatsoever. And a lot of the time, they call it "rapping" in the songs but all it really is is just dialogue with a backing track. Then there are other songs like the room where it happens and say no to this which are more jazz-style songs. Its a mix of almost every genre under the sun so to say its only rap and hip hop is pretty ignorant tbh

Talk about VERSATILITY!! Naya Rivera was the undisputed star of Glee. So glad they recognized what a talent they had and showcased it whenever they got the chance. From starting out as a bit player with no lines to Series STAR!! Santana Lopez should've gotten her own spinoff. She started out as a man eating snarky popular cheerleader with her sharp tongue & insults. But her character was the only one who truly evolved and "grew up" right before our eyes. I just wish she got more songs to sing on the show but I'm blessed she had some iconic songs to sing. Noone could make me laugh or bring me to tears like Naya did on Glee. I really didn't appreciate what a triple threat this girl was, on top of being drop dead gorgeous and super intelligent! She was essential in making Brittana the most authentic heartfelt storyline in the show's history. The show really messed up not including her more in the last season. Especially after Brittany and Santana's wedding, they could've shown them more as a couple, gave them a few duets. It was amazing they got an entire episode dedicated to the wedding but after they got married Brittana deserved more. Ah well! A girl can dream. RIP Beautiful Angel!! You're in Heaven with Cory now. You're son was lucky to have you as a mom.
