Because of Glee….. I found myself. No, seriously. Not to bore anybody, but this is seriously the ONLY show I watch and I've watched it since I was 16 (now 21). I seriously didn't know what I wanted to do in life or even do while I was in high school. So I took a chance, went to the choir room one day and asked the teacher if I could join choir and show choir. From there EVERYTHING has been better. I've done musicals, performed at Disney World in Florida, won championships, and made friends with people I never thought I would. I've loved to sing and dance since I was a kid, but lost the love for it in the early years of high school because I thought of what kids would think of me. Then I saw this fictional character named Finn Hudson played by an actor Cory Monteith. (You may have heard of him ;) ). He showed me that regardless of your background you should do what you love and give it your best. We are given talents as gifts for a reason and we should NEVER EVER HIDE THEM! I've stayed loyal and will stay loyal. That's what the magic of music has. That's the magic that Glee had and still does to this day. Thank You GLEE.

I'm now 23, nearly 24 and I am a freelance writer, which I love. I hope it taught kids that, yes, life isn't easy (Sue is the personification of this), but that life also has its small victories, and to embrace them. I also hope that it opened kids up to a variety of music, particularly from older generations. And personally, while I was confident with my opinions and myself, "Loser like me" I absolutely loved. As Sue says in the final episode. "See life, not for what it is, but how it should be. Where the high school quarterback, becomes best friends with the gay kid."
