So basically every episode version is better. I don’t like it when there or a lot of back vocals. And I definitely don’t like it when Rachel takes over lines. (Not every episode version but a lot of them)

I rlly love how Kurt looks at Rachel when he says you can't bring me down and that he says 'I'm thru accepting limits, cos someone says they're so' because everyone told him it was wrong to be gay, and once he realised who he truly was he stopped trying to change himself for others. What did Rachel do? Except being Jewish, which was her excuse for everything

if you’re gonna do another one of these, I can remember a few that haven’t been mentioned. I’ll try to remember more, too, lol The episode version of Stereo Hearts removes some of Sam’s ad libs from the first part (and makes Quinn’s parts in the rap quieter (it also removes half the rap, but I don’t think you’re counting “cut for time” or that would be like, everything lol).) And I guess, same episode, the way Quinn sings a line in Cherish is a bit different The episode version of Control shortens some of Quinn’s intro/splits lines together, removes various adlibs In Afternoon Delight, the chorus is sung by Quinn and Emma in the episode. In the studio version, all except one time it’s just Quinn. I don’t listen to Rachel’s songs much but seems like a lot of the changes are the girls, you’ve caught a lot of them
@grbila76743 жыл бұрын
Immediately remembering another one: if you include the X factor UK performance of Don’t Stop Believin’, a lot of lines are changed
@grbila76743 жыл бұрын
Oh and I think they reordered the verses of Empire State of Mind (yes, that is just ignoring all the ones that weren’t in the episode)
@bluejellybean20943 жыл бұрын
That's so weird that you mention Stereo Hearts because I've been listening to karaoke versions of it trying to hear Quinn's voice to decide whether it's a trio or quartet. It sounds like another voice backing up but I don't think it's Quinn it's probably just one of the back up singers they use a lot. Yeah I'm not counting cut time because basically every song in glee has a longer version. Could you point me to the line in Cherish because I just had a quick listen but I probably missed it. Yeah the second part of Quinn's intro is removed in the episode. Yeah the studio version of Afternoon Delight is really weird. I just listened to it. Thanks for pointing that out. Also it sounds like the whole part from "sky rockets in flight......a-a-a-ah afternoon delight" isn't any of the cast at all. I think it's some of the backing singers that they use a lot of in glee. Oh yeah the first part of Puck's 1st verse is switched with the 2nd verse. And the 2nd part of the 2nd verse is switched with the 1st. Thanks for pointing that out. That's a great idea to the the X factor performance. I haven't thought of that. I'll probably compare it to the regionals version as that one is the most similar. Thank you so much for all of these. I'll give you credit when I make the video ❤️😊
@grbila76743 жыл бұрын
@@bluejellybean2094 also mercedes' ad libs in give up the funk, though I imagine that applies to many songs, but they're pretty big on this studio version. hmm, I'm pretty sure it's quinn in stereo hearts if just for the fact dianna agron got a song credit (and she doesn't always get credited on songs she obviously sings lol), but also she starts to lip-sync some of the rap in the episode before stopping and all the no-oh-ote parts really sound like her, mercedes doesn't sing them, and dianna does lip sync them (and not other parts) in the episode. it's one of those I spent a lot of time working out when I saw the credits back in like 2015

@@grbila7674 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWSuZXisg69lesk This is the karaoke version of Stereo Hearts but that backup voice still doesn't sound like Quinn to me unless her voice has been edited.
