keri keeney I agree with you. all the girls, especially santana and Mercedes have beautiful voices and keep up with Rachel but I think what pushes Rachel a bit more in terms of voice is that she can hold extremely high notes for a really long time. most of the other girls will hold a note for like 6-10 seconds, Rachel will hold it for at least 12-16 seconds. and it doesn't seem like a lot but I'm pretty sure it takes a lot of endurance and vocal lessons to be able to hold a note for so long and I'm tune and still be able to keep singing afterwards. I don't doubt that your throat starts to get very sore. but I still love all the girls.

I always found their dancing to be very compelling to watch. I think they would've fit right into a show choir group like Vocal Adrenaline very well.
