Alex R I’m actually not sure which New Direction number went up against this, but I meant in general. This song has background singers, the girl singing at the beginning isn’t the main girl. And while we’re at it Vocal Adrenaline has also won with like one person singing and backup vocals.

@@laurenstanciel1247 This was against Hall of Fame, I Love It, and All or Nothing. So still pretty decent songs. The girl at the beginning is the main girl. They are just focusing on the dancers as the main girl doesn't dance much. Old Vocal Adrenaline was an ensemble, and S1 Sectionals Vocal Adrenaline has Jesse who is arguably the best performer in the series.

I loved how they tried to hide it with clever editing that Jessica Sanchez is not a dancer, so they focused on the other people in the group and just fit her in just enough haha.
