I think he's a great teacher, he not only brought the confidence out of these kids, he also became almost a father figure in their lives, I think he's amazing.

I do, but not nearly as much as Mr. Schue in Season 1. For me to like a character, they need to be an underdog, or they need to be a hilarious villain. Season 1 Schuester was an underdog in so many ways, he had so many stories to tell. I definitely understand why people don't like him anymore, though. It's sad that the writers needed to turn him into an uptight teacher, but at the end of the day, Mr. Schue is the kind of teacher I wish I had and the teacher I hope I will one day be. He inspires his kids. A lot of teachers will just teach you about the subject and dismiss, but like Finn said, he taught the kids how to dream. I didn't have a teacher quite like that before.
