The performance of 'Heroes' begins with Sam on stage playing the guitar and singing. After he does, he's replaced on the stage by Blaine. During the performance, scenes were cut to the New Directions standing outside with paintbrushes as they prepare to paint the wall which has a lot of writing on them, playfully painting each other in the process. Then Blaine and Sam were seen high fiving each other as they were in their superhero costumes, at the Thanksgiving stall, receiving food items and clothes. Then the scene cuts back to Blaine and Sam on stage together. After the performance, they both playfully push each other's head and laugh.
