I know Glee is a show and this is put on but, seriously, wow, this preformance in my opinion is the best in the season thus far, purely because of the raw emotional power this is sung with, you feel every ounce of pain that Unique feels as this is sung. Pure class.

I started watching glee again recently (I didn't get into it before), When they introduced Unique, I was really surprised as I didn't know they had trans characters. But seeing her struggle in highschool reminded me of my own struggles. When she sang this song, I actually teared up because I knew exactly the feelings the character was having. Someone misgendered me (probably by accident) just a few hours before I wrote this. I told the person politely that I was a girl and moved on, but here I am, singing over this and tearing up again.
