Yeah I know and you don't have to get over it. Never. Nobody expects you to know how to handle losing people even if it's somebody you don't know personally. I just lost my mum recently so now it's even more a reminder of how precious life is. I thought losing Cory was bad enough. Sometimes your mind can get in a dark place. I've been there. Us gleeks got to stick together. Never ever feel like you're doing this solo, you're not guys. If you feel like you need to talk, I have my Tumblr page. Feel free to find it on my KZbin even if you want to have a good rant about how people don't seem to notice. I'm a good listener.

It’s how he cracks his voice to make it seem like he is about to cry or scream out of frustration. True masterpiece.
@montanarose-sings4 жыл бұрын
That's absolutely valid. Some of the greatest performers of all time weren't necessarily the best vocalists. There's something beautiful in imperfection that tends to get lost in the perfect, smooth vocals of most modern music.

He can sing but he couldn't SING. The thing I loved about him was that he worked on singing just to be on this show and worked on his voice regularly.

Technically, this song is about being frustrated to the point of blowing up. The phrase "losing my religion" is a southern expression about no longer being able to keep one's cool. The original song itself by REM was about being so frustrated at a relationship, that they were ready to blow up. This song has no connection to actual religion whatsoever, but that's just for those who want to know the truth. Everyone is free to believe in their own perceptions.
@fabioantonio40536 жыл бұрын
Arielelian Delunari and then why in the videoclip appears Jesus, and paintings about religions?
@initiationed83385 жыл бұрын
Ain’t no one in the south ever said that
@nocreativity77694 жыл бұрын
The character that was singing was singing it about actual religion, but the character he was looking at (the one that was crying in the library), had a dad in the hospital who he thought was going to die. His friends were also giving him a really hard time so he felt alone and it was overall a very heavy episode. I always thought the main focus of the song was supposed to be on the character who was losing his dad and the one singing was the afterthought but maybe that's just me lol

Beecause all of these words I'm broken inside. It's become true. When I see him singing...now he's gone. That's me in the corner That's me in the spotlight Losing my religion. That's why this song is so personal. One death can make you feel like there is nothing up there. That there is no God. For one minute ofc. After scream you pray. Everyone lose their faith sometimes. In the coner. In the spotlight.

I've watched EVERY single episode of glee several times except for this one, that I didn't find on the web (it was said it was unavailable) and I 've been listening to this song every day since almost a year. I just discovered they covered it. The lyrics used to make me strong and feel a knda anger, but now i just wanna cry. Thinking of the lyrics, of Cory, of his death.
@vkk81378 жыл бұрын
I just saw the grilled cheesus episode, (For some reason I'd never been able to watch this episode before) and I'm kinda amazed by this performance. It sounds like he actually lost faith,.. (I mean he did, but considering that the only faith he had was conferred by a sandwich, that didn't sound like a big deal) I may be extrapolating but this broken thing in his voice really sounds like this moment is a watershed for him..like, he kind of suddenly became adult :p ....and then I realize we're talking about fictional character and I feel sooo creepy ^^
@rodrigoalbertovaladezmata76113 жыл бұрын
I think the fact of his faith being in a sandwich makes it even more powerful, just my opinion, let me explain Yeah for sure Finn wasnt the smartest character, but he also has passed through some hard times, he got cheated and lost who he taught was his dauther, also he never knew his dad so the fact that his only father figure at the moment is in the hospital with his life in danger and no one even told him anything just because "he wasnt his father" was pretty horrible, so imo it felt like Finn kinda searched for some faith, and at the moment he saw that something was working so he stick to it (which is what a lot of people do in real life) he was desesperate and had Such a fragile faith that a sandwich was enough to convince him, and when he realized that the sandwich wasnt special at all it must have been heartbreaking for him
