I blame Ryan Murphy. He did say he hated how Quinn was made too likeable by Dianna Agron. Clearly the script was targeted to make her character unlikeable.

@@Starryeyedobsolete [I apologize for my bad english] There's also an article I've read before, saying that Ryan Murphy actually wanted Quinn to be the main antagonist of the show. But, Diana did not agree with him because she said that it will ruin her character, Quinn, and also, her career. It is also stated in that article that Ryan and Diana's feud was so bad that Ryan actually wanted to write Diana's character off of the show. But, he was worried that fans will be mad at him and, boycott the show. So, instead of writing her character completely off of the show, he slowly wrote less and less of Dianna's character.

Daniela Flores I wanted to see more of the dynamic between the unholy trinity. I seriously wanted Quinn to slap Santana for keeping her and Brittany’s relationship a secret. I wanted to see Quinn’s reaction to watching her besties fall in love with each other. I imagine her being supportive but also a little jealous and feeling like a third wheel when they hang out. All Quinn wanted want to be loved and maybe a little romance. Sam was the sweetest guy, but I think Puck was the most sweep of you off your feet romantic.
