Yes, she should've. But let's not deflect from the root of the problem. If Quinn's father wasn't a controlling, domineering, egocentric, abusive, neglectful, narcissistic asshole, Quinn's mother wouldn't have to speak up at all. Clearly, he already blamed his wife and daughters for any and all problems that occurred in the family. Getting other people to do the same is precisely how abusers typically get away with their behaviour for so long.

I think some people are being a little too harsh on Judy. Yes, she was wrong to not stop Russell from kicking Quinn out, and she should have come to see her much sooner. But I think Judy always wanted Quinn back, she just wanted to make sure when Quinn was back in the Fabray household, she would be safe. Russell proved he wouldn't treat her right once he knew Quinn was pregnant, but Judy was probably too scared to leave him. It's implied that she was dependent on him finance wise. But once he cheated, that was the straw that broke the camel's back, and gave her the courage to kick him out. Then, she could finally ask Quinn to come back, now that he was gone. I'm sad that we never got to see Judy and Quinn's relationship be repaired.

I love how everyone’s bashing Quinn’s mother without realizing how much more the father is at fault. Like she probably wouldn’t have asked Quinn back if her husband didn’t cheat on her, but y’all are also missing the fact that once Quinn’s mother took control of the house, she asked Quinn back. She probably couldn’t get her husband to let Quinn back into the house until her husband wasn’t there anymore.
