@@bluebubble229 IN the glee time line a month of so earlier Santana was going through Rachel's stuff and still insulting Rachel. You don't get over years of abuse in a couple of months. Plus since Rachel was starting to trust Santana it made it worse when she went behind her back. Rachel was still 18 of course she would be weary about Santana. And she was right Santana went for revenge after the fight, the first day at rehearsal she used her dressing room and back in Lima she aired their dirty laundry and ranted on Rachel.

@@bluebubble229 it’s the emotional trauma. I do believe Rachel should have handled it better; but when she tried to make amends Santana then decided to want it all. Santana was trying to show her that she could be her friend; but after all the insults and emotional baggage she gave Rachel ; why shouldn’t she be weary of her.

It’s easy to say that Rachel only came back to claim the part from April. But the rest of the club were more than happy to cut the show short. I didn’t see anyone else stepping up to claim April’s solo, like Mercedes or Kurt who always complain about not having enough solos. One of them could have stepped up as the “understudy” but no it’s always Rachel who has the “show must go on” drive and steps up when the club need her to. You can fault some of her methods but you can’t fault her commitment to the glee club.

Tf do you mean? They have a chance to Santana, Kurt, Blaine, Brittany etc. yeah they might not have been during the performances (except Santana witth Valerie) But they had many opportunities of their own. And the ones like Tina, Brittany, and Quinn, they never stepped up to having solos and wanting their moment until it came to the final nationals where (no offense to them) but their voices can’t compare to Rachel and finish it off like it did. They won. Had Tina done All coming back to be now, it wouldn’t fit because we never saw her go all out and belt. She wanted to be a star too and became a wasted character by s4 - 6. None of them fought and proved to want it as much as Rachel.

THIS IS WHY RACHEL IS THE FUCKING STAR OF GLEE CLUB. There was an opening for any girl to step in as the lead. But no one took the responsibility on in this moment. Mercedes, Santana, Tina ... all the girls who claimed to be the star were like: nope I can't do that. Rachel on the other hand trained hard and she was the only one who was always focused on Glee club.

Quinn and Tina are wonderful altos, Brittany a lower mezzo, i adore Santana (mezzo) and Mercedes (soprano) but the songs Rachel (soprano) did no one could match. Songs Mercedes did no one could match. Ones Santana did no one could match. Even ones Quinn, Brittany & Tina have done. All of these girls were so talented and had their own styles

I disagree with saying Rachel was the star, but I do agree no one wanted to take responsibility. I understand that the girls shouldn’t be compared but I don’t think this has anything to do with comparing the girls. It was more about those specific girls that always fought to be part of the spotlight because Rachel was always in the spotlight. But when they had the opportunity to step up and show that they are just as amazing, not one of them tried. This was the problem here. They relied on Rachel and April too much that they forgot to be confident in themselves. Yet they ended up blaming Rachel.

Glee was always the story of Finn, Rachel, and their relationship. The rest of the cast were supporting characters and almost every single one of them did horrible things throughout this show. But fans choose who to forgive and who to condemn based on their own preferences and how “likable” they feel a character was. Never mind that the writing was inconsistent and plot driven so they were constantly going back and forth between learning their lesson and repeating it for drama factor.
